    • Choosing a location (city) where the new pizza store will be situated.

    • Preparing a store opening plan with regard to recruitment and training of the crew member which will take place at the new store.

    The journey to owning the first Domino's store began in 2005 in England, when Jakub took a job as a delivery man at local Domino's. He got quickly promoted to Shift Manager and then Store Manager – that was the time when the idea of owning his own store began to take root and influence his actions.

    Jakub learnt in England how to manage people – after that he moved to Ireland to gain the experience of running the busiest Domino’s store in the world. He decided to return to England where he took on a new challenge - opening the brand new Domino’s store, this time as Area Manager. He knows what challenges the franchisees are facing when opening a new pizzeria and how to set goals and motivate managers. "The important thing is to show others that you’re a person they can rely on. You have to give a lot of yourself - then people will do for you more" - he says.

    After moving back to Poland Jakub worked as Sales Strategy Manager in Domino’s Pizza Poland. "Working for corporation is a small risk, but also a small gain and it means I’m devoting my time for someone else. On the other hand starting my own business can bring potentially high profits but also high risk." – says Jakub. "I’ve never been inclined to take risks, which is why the franchise was the perfect solution for me - profits are high, the risks limited. It is also a solid base for continued growth.     Currently, Jakub has 5 Domino’s stores under his wings and plans to open more. What sort of training will I undergo?
Candidate training takes place in the premises of Domino's Pizza and is tailored to candidate needs - its length is suitable to the experience of the candidate.
Can I set up a company with a partner?
Yes.
Does Domino’s Pizza offer credit for franchisees?
No - the franchisee is responsible for obtaining the funds for investment.
Can I come to Domino's Pizza with my own premises?
Yes – in this case the premises must meet the following requirements:
- Preferable store area is 80-120 m2.
- Technical requirements: ability to connect the power line 85 kW, ventilation duct.
How big is the store team?
About 10-20 employees.
Can I introduce my own products into Domino’s menu?
No. All products are selected and approved by Domino's Pizza Poland (including suppliers of products that are used for making pizzas or side orders).
Can I own more than one Domino’s store?
Yes. Each new franchisee can take at the beginning only one pizzeria. Over time, as the franchisee gains experience, he/she can open another store. Our existing franchisees have already several pizzerias.
Do I have any influence on the location of my future store?
When completing the application form the candidate presents his/her territorial preferences (city / cities). Domino's Pizza provides assistance in choosing and finding a suitable location.
Do I have to give up my current employment / business?
No - as long as it’s not a competition to Domino's.
